Lindsay J. Marshburn, O.D.

    Dr. Lindsay Johnson Marshburn grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia and is excited to be back working in her hometown.  She graduated as the Salutatorian of Starr’s Mill High School in 2005.  Dr. Marshburn earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Science from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Marshburn attended the University of Alabama School of Optometry where she was elected President of both UAB's American Optometric Student Association and its Student Government. While in graduate school, she did rotations in primary care, pediatrics, ocular disease, and contact lenses.  Dr. Marshburn especially loved her externships at the Birmingham VA Medical Center in Alabama and the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital in Arizona.
After being awarded her degree as a Doctor of Optometry in May 2013, Dr. Marshburn was selected as a Resident for Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta where she specialized in Refractive and Ocular Surgery and Ocular Disease. Dr. Marshburn worked closely with top cornea specialists and very knowledgeable in the management of dry eye, cataract surgery, and elective eye surgery for vision correction, including LASIK.
Since entering practice in Peachtree City, Dr. Marshburn is a regular volunteer at free vision clinics for the under-served of metro Atlanta.
Dr. Marshburn loves spending time with her friends, family, and husband, Patrick. They enjoy traveling and outdoor adventures as well as enjoying the cultural aspects Atlanta has to offer.
